How do you guys handle hot tub cleaning without going nuts?

Hey everyone, I recently bought a used hot tub for my backyard and I’m quickly realizing that keeping it clean is way more work than I expected. I’ve been trying to stay on top of the hot tub maintenance routine—checking the pH levels, scrubbing the sides, balancing the chemicals—but honestly, it’s starting to feel like a second job.

I’ve been reading a bunch online, including stuff from this site I found https://innovospa.com/ and while the tips are helpful, I feel like I’m missing something. Is there a trick to making hot tub cleaning less of a hassle? Do you guys follow a strict schedule or just clean it when it looks sketchy?

Any advice would be awesome. Hoping some fellow hot tub owners can share what works (and what doesn’t). Would love to know if you use any specific products or tools too. Thanks!
